eHealth Suisse: Paving the way for a linked-up healthcare system with resilience

eHealth Suisse is driving the digitisation of the Swiss healthcare system. As the national coordination centre of the federal government and cantons, it facilitates the secure and interconnected exchange of information in the health sector. The electronic patient dossier (EPD) is a crucial tool in making this vision a reality.

To help continually identify and evaluate overarching risks in the complex EPD system, Ergon worked with eHealth Suisse to develop a holistic concept for overarching risk analysis. A structured risk catalogue, practical assessment criteria and a clear governance process now ensure that overarching risks are not only detected, but that measures are taken to address them, too. This helps the EPD succeed and establishes trust among all stakeholders – from system operators to the public.
